ECO CLUB

Eco club intends to sensitize the young members of Kāsiga School of the three R principles - Reduce, Recycle and Reuse. Awareness is created by helping the children realize that nothing is 'destructible'. Care is taken to sensitize the students to look upon wastage and gross misuse of resources as criminal. The environment at Kāsiga School is kept clear by the students themselves, the intricacies of solar heating and recycling waste are made known to all. Nature walks are an offshoot of this Club and the students fascinate themselves ambling through less used tracks to collect sample of flora and fauna, make scarecrows in fields and click pictures.
