Travel broadens our perspectives. Suddenly, the palette with which we paint the story
of our lives has more colors
Learning through personal experience is far richer than any number of theoretical expositions. Fun picnics and field trips broaden students’ horizons. They are fantastic ways to empower children to explore their surroundings and acquire vast knowledge and many indispensable skills. Exchange programmes are part of the academic calendar and these advance international understanding and strengthen cultural ties. These are excellent opportunities to deepen knowledge and pride in one’s own cultural heritage. Students become cultural ambassadors of India as much as Kāsiga.
The school, in collaboration with renowned service providers, offers wonderful opportunities to its students, to be a part of educational trips to locations around the world like the U.S.A, Europe & Australia. The experience becomes enriching, rejuvenating and thrilling and children learn about varied cultures and societies.
Students at Kāsiga embody many different backgrounds and experiences. These integrated multicultural experiences make every day an opportunity to gain a more global perspective. To further this objective, at present, Kāsiga School shares a partnership with Wasatch Academy, Utah, an established residential school in the USA for exchange programs and collaborative work among students.
We take immense pride in the well-planned domestic tours and camps which are organised with an objective to inculcate values like cooperation, tolerance, patience and teamwork. A wide range of sensory experiences inspire and stimulate the young minds and enhance their creative potential. Children learn many new skills in a constructive and nurturing environment. Self reliance, teamwork, sharing and acceptance are attained much more easily through real life experience in the course of such tours which are as enjoyable as edifying.
At Kāsiga , day excursions to the river, and into the woods are an integral part of every student’s life. The school organizes numerous trips every year, heading into the high mountains on adventurous treks, wildlife sanctuaries and National parks to attend animal and bird watching activities and outings to numerous reputed research institutions that pepper the Doon Valley. In addition, students also participate in social awareness campaigns on environmental conservation. We have tie-ups with prominent NGO’s, conservationists and heritage experts who enrich the knowledge and skill set of our students and prepare them to become environmental champions in life later on.
