Admission Process

Admission Procedure

At Kāsiga School, admission is open to all irrespective of caste, creed, colour or religion, based on availability of seats. All students seeking admission into Kāsiga should register themselves. Students who are registered will appear for a written assessment in November/ December each year. Please check the website for announcement of dates. School tour and a meeting with teachers are encouraged prior to registration.

Registration

  • Registration is open for Class IV to IX and XI.
  • The completed application form needs to be deposited to the Admission Office, along with a payment of Rs. 15000/- as Registration Fee.
  • This fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee admission.
  • The application form and the registration fee can also be deposited online.

Age Requirement

For admission in Kāsiga School, Dehradun for Class IV, the age should be between 81/2 years and 91/2 years as on 1st April of the year of admission.

Age Requirement

  • The written assessment will test proficiency in English, Mathematics, Science and Hindi.
  • Questions will be based on the syllabus of the class that the student is currently in (for example, a student applying for admission to Class VI will be assessed on the syllabus of Class V). The syllabus for the entrance assessment is available on the website along with sample papers.
  • After the written assessment, there will be an interaction of the parents and student with the Principal and the Admissions Committee.

 A reference check from the previous school will also be done. Admission to the Kāsiga School, Dehradun is offered on the basis of all of the above. The offer has to be accepted by paying fees within 15 days, failing which the seat may be offered to the next suitable applicant.

The Principal reserves the right to admit the student into the class deemed suitable for the student.

Documents

  • Registration Card (which will be issued to you once you register with the School).
  • Birth certificate, attested.
  • Academic reports and certificates for the last three years.
  • Individual passport size photographs (6) of the student and the parents.
  • Aadhar Card of the student ( Indian National).

A Letter of Admission will be issued thereafter to selected candidates.
