The candidate is required to have advanced degrees and extensive experience in the residential school education setup. Apart from being a trained teacher, he/ she should have a broad knowledge of academic planning, pedagogy, supervision, training, academic administration and assessment systems.
The Dean of Students’ affairs responds to students’ welfare needs residing on campus, plans programs/activities for campus life, and helps with students’ issues. He/she communicates with students, parents, and staff and trains/coordinates with the pastoral staff coupled with their mentoring and supervision. The ideal candidate should be a First Class postgraduate with B.Ed. He/she should have been a PGT/ Housemaster in a recognized residential school for at least 05 years and should be adept with IT and man-management skills.

The right candidate should be a music practitioner who possesses an advanced degree in music and demonstrates an outstanding leadership and management of the Music Department. He/she should coordinate and do line management of teaching and support staff in the Music Department including music technicians and facilitate an inclusive extra-curricular Music program encompassing various ensembles, mass, and elite choirs thereby making a leading contribution towards inter-school events, exams, school events such as the annual musical concerts and assemblies.
The candidate should hold a professional Master’s Degree in fine art areas. The Applicant should also have at least 10 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in an academic institution of repute. Kasiga emphasizes practical studio work, the study of prescribed theory subjects, and research in selected art fields; therefore the candidate should be a practicing artist -painter/ sculptor and graphic designer of repute too.
Bachelor’s degree in theatre, performing arts, drama, or musical theatre, and relevant experience of working in theatre, production, and teaching.
Desirable: Bachelor of Technical Teacher Education (BTTE)/BTVT Ed. Course.
