Head Girl
Ishana joined Kasiga School in the year 2016 and since her inception, exhibited excellent leadership qualities.
Being exceptional at academics, she has to her credit 90% in almost all the academic components. Scoring 4 A*’s and 3 A’s in the IGCSE examinations, she is also the recipient of the prestigious ‘Kasiga Academic Scholarship’. She was the Runner Up at the Interschool ‘Spell Bee’ held in 2018. Being a member of the Kasiga School Editorial Board, her contributions and advice are greatly appreciated.
Being exceptionally talented in sports, Ishana has won many accolades for herself and Kasiga. She was recognized as the Best Athlete (female) consecutively in 2017 and 2018 and participated at the District Athletics and District Basketball tournaments. She was a member of the School Tennis team that was the winner of the bronze medal at the Inter-School Tennis Tournament organized by Unison School and represented the State of Uttarakhand at the National Football Championship.
Head Boy
Yazan joined Kasiga School in the year 2014 in Class 7. Having studied in various schools in the Gulf, before joining Kasiga School he naturally adapted to the environment here and soon distinguished himself in most fields. Yazan often was called upon even in his early years at Kasiga to carry out responsible tasks, and his dynamic personality was instrumental in the development of his leadership skills as he soon found himself being looked up to by his peers and younger ones. A proven leader, Yazan was often called upon and willingly obliged, to fill in for the House captain or House Prefect of Nile House whenever they were indisposed.
Yazan always possessed a love for Basketball and his amazing skills matched with his cool temperament, the reasons which saw him becoming an integral member of the school team. He was inducted into the school’s English Oratory society wherein he anchored many interschool and inter house events. His high scores in the IGCSE examinations are testimony to his academic prowess. His love and taste for music also made him the natural DJ for all Jam Sessions that were organized at school.
In recognition of his diverse skills, multi – faceted personality and achievements both in and outside the school, Md. Yazan Khan has been appointed as the School Head Boy.
Deputy Head Girl
Reyha joined Kasiga School in the year 2011. Her leadership abilities were recognized when she created history being the only girl who was appointed as the House Prefect for Pacific House in 2017-18.
An ardent Sports person, her outstanding skills at Soccer have earned Reyha a permanent position in the school team which has participated in National, District and Inter School tournaments. She was also the National Awardee for Soccer for Uttarakhand in 2018. Her efforts at the National Soccer Championships were instrumental in the State of Uttarakhand winning the Championship in 2015. In addition, she is a keen athlete ranking 18th in the State of Uttarakhand for Cross Country also in 2015.
Academically, Reyha is a competent orator who has represented Kasiga School at the Modern United Nations and participated in various Inter School and Inter House debates. Her creative skills have been instrumental in her winning many an award for writing poetry.
Reyha excels at dancing and has, over the years, represented Kasiga School at various CBSE and Inter School dance competitions.
HEAD GIRL
A scholar, an avid reader and a footballer, Sadhika dons several hats and carries them all with great ease and finesse. As a student, Sadhika has always competed with herself, striving for a better self. She believes that when you help others, you become a stronger person, as it is empathy that is the highest attribute of the generous people. A caring leader, she leads with feelings and passion and not with position alone.
KASIGA has helped me become someone I could have never imagined myself to be, about four years ago. I wouldn’t trade anything in the world for the opportunities that I have got here and continue in still getting.
HEAD BOY
A passionate photographer, Hamza wants to capture life in a perfect shot. A keen footballer, he carries the team spirit beyond the ground. A people’s person, his leadership qualities are reflected in the quiet ways he gets things done. He is a perfect team leader for the School Council for leading the students, a mentor for the juniors, a friend for his batchmates, and a shoulder that can be entrusted with duties and responsibilities.
I feel that Kasiga is the best place for an all-round development of a student. I, myself, have changed immensely – from being an introvert, homesick child, I have come a long way in becoming the representative of every single student of the school. I am thankful to my parents, and convey my gratitude to all who have helped me and motivated me throughout my journey in Kasiga.
Ritik is one of the best basketball players of the School team. He believes in teamwork and leading the team with passion. For him, the School is one place where you play to win and practice to excel.
I feel privileged to have been given the chance to be the House Captain of Pacific House. I have been studying here for the past five years. I am grateful to the school for giving me an opportunity to bring about positive changes in the school. I will always contribute to this School in every possible way I can.
A keen sporstman, Abhishek loves to set new challenges and challenge his limits. He plays cricket and football and he is an avid athlete. He has bagged Gold Medal not only for Javelin Throw but also for Discus Throw at the District Athletics Meet. He believes that discipline of body is the first step for disciplining the mind.
I am very grateful to the school for giving me an opportunity to lead. It feels wonderful to work for the school in which I have been studying for the past four years. I would like to help and do my bit in giving back to the institute which has shaped me and made me the person I have become. I am thankful to all my teachers for reposing their faith in me and giving me a chance to be a leader.
Shivam is one of the quiet workers , he believes actions speak for themselves and one leads best by example.

With an endearing smile and a charming wit, Rohan is popular with his peers. He is an all-rounder, a gifted guitarist and an accomplished basketball player. He plays the guitar and basketball with equal ease. He composes music as well as songs .
I have been here only for a year and it has been the most wonderful experience of my eight years of life spent at boarding schools. Kasiga has given me opportunities to prove myself to be what I am today. Afterall, life is 10% of what happens to us and 90% of how we react to it.
Keliv is full of life, willing to help others and great to be with! Quick to make friends, he has that wonderful attitude of being in the moment that few are blessed with. He is part of the Junior Football Team and takes great pride in his game.
It was my choice to join Kasiga in 2016 and I just love to be here. My friends and teachers helped me to settle in the boarding-life routine. I enjoy the school, and relish eating at our Tuck Shop and Food Court, which open once a week for each of the respective houses.
He is part of the School Soccer and Basketball team. An accomplished player – he loves to play and everyone loves to be with him, on ground or off the court – Kritat is everybody’s favourite.
I joined Kasiga because I wanted to learn English. I love to play football and basketball, and I have ample opportunities here to do so. I have many friends in the school and I love Kasiga!
He is gifted with a quiet sense of observation which he has sharpened through his love for books. He is quite creative and artistic. He loves to draw and paint and is good at strumming the strings of his guitar.
I am Lakshyveer, a student of Kasiga School. The first day when I entered this school and into my boarding life, I felt that life here without parents would be difficult. But once I settled in the boarding routine, I realized that this place is very beautiful. I desire to stay here long and complete my senior secondary education here, as I think that all the facilities, activities and events are helping me develop.
A happy-go-lucky child, he spends his free time reading books and enjoying poetry. He is an enthusiastic cricketer as well.
This is my first year at Kasiga School. I am in Grade VI. Since the time I came here, my life has completely changed. For the first time, I am away from my parents for experiencing boarding life. I soon settled in the new routine, and from day one, I made many friends. Now I can say that this is a great boarding school, and I like my new school very much and I love my new life.
Jr VI Krish has the rare combination of being quiet, focused and sensitive. He is a self-motivated child who believes in challenging his own limits. He loves reading and enjoys his game – football. He is part of the Junior Football Team as well. He is meticulous and it reflects in his work.
Kasiga, for me, is the essence of happiness. This school completely changed my lifestyle, from being a weary boy to being a smart, energetic and active one. Kasiga made me learn how to lead a responsible life and how to take care of my studies. If one has a question how to live an exciting life miles and miles away from home, Kasiga is the answer.

Saiyyam Agarwal, the newly appointed Head Boy is the pride and joy of the school. He is also a scholarship holder for academic excellence and the driving force that powers the football team to victory. His communication skills hold him in good stead and he enjoys participating in Dramatics. When the coveted badge was pinned on his lapel he decided there and then that all his actions and decisions will be based on Ratan Tata’s advice

Our Head Girl, Aditi Aryal has spent her formative years in Kasiga and firmly believes that the school has moulded her into a confident, articulate and compassionate person. The badge of honour has just added to her other achievements. She says that,

The house Prefect of Everest House, Parth Barad is passionate about photography and has often captured the perfect picture. The dedication and patience required to perfect this art is reflected in his daily routine. He feels,

Affable and approachable are the words that describe the Pacific House Prefect, Prabhsharan Singh Grover. He is always willing to extend a helping hand and a broad shoulder to cry on. These qualities help him to bond well with his peers. He firmly believes in the question asked by Martin Luther King,
“’Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?”
Like his identical twin brother, Shubh Aggarwal too is an asset for the school. He is the House Captain of Nile House, a footballer par excellence and mentor to all the students. His advice to the juniors is,
“every accomplishment begins with the decision to try.”
Yash Bansal, the Deputy Head Boy, is an all rounder, a scholarship holder, President of the Interact Club and a natural athlete. During the selections for the National Games he made a name for himself in track and field events. His commanding presence makes him a natural leader. His aim is to join the Indian Army as an officer. He firmly believes,
“If it does not challenge you, then it won’t change you”
With a twinkle in their eyes and a never ending smile the Kipa brothers Mangjang and Mangming from Arunachal Pradesh have recently joined the junior section. They just can’t get over the fun and learning at Kasiga, and joyously say,“We both like it here, everyone is so good to us”
Snigdha Pandey is the quintessential girl student quiet, diligent and respectful. Enjoys participating in all activities and invariably comes out the winner!! She thoughtfully says,
“I wanted to come here to study after listening to the stories related to me by my brother”
Sanome is our Yankee, all the way from America. He has a great imagination and his communication skills fill you with wonder and admiration. He chirps happily,
“I enjoy school life here, we study read, play and the foods good too”
