Football is a true team sport; a sport which I started pursuing here at Kasiga under the expert guidance of my coach Mr. Rawat. Before joining Kasiga, I was a timid kid afraid of getting hit by a ball. My parents constantly encouraged me to go out in the open and play but were unfortunately unsuccessful. However, their dream came true when I joined Kasiga. I watched in awe when my friends excelled in sports. Soon I was drawn towards the game influenced by the cheerful sessions of the practice of the girls’ football team and the magnetic surroundings. I was motivated to play football and before I knew it, I began loving this sport, something I dreaded when I was home. After years of continuous training, I can now finally say that I am a proud member of the girls’ football team ‘Go Kasiga’. I have achieved many merits in various Inter-School competitions. Leadership is learned in many ways, and in football, it’s learned early. And I wouldn’t trade my experience for anything in the world. I will always be thankful to Kasiga for opening new doors and giving me countless opportunities.
